Immunohistochemistry
The Manhattan-based Immunohistochemistry Core (IHC) provides extensive options requiring special histochemical and immunohistochemical staining of both human and animal model tissue sections as its main focus. A state-of-the-art computer-controlled immunohistochemical system with an extensive menu of working protocols for antigen retrieval and immunostaining using a large number of antibodies is part of the IHC.
The Immunohistochemistry Core is located in Room 4W35 of the New Bellevue Hospital within the NYU Department of Pathology clinical space. With a dedicated core space that includes a 200sq ft laboratory. Also available are a fume hood, tissue processors and a paraffin embedder in adjacent Department of Pathology laboratories. Dr. Herman Yee’s clinical space and office are located in the same hallway as the core lab, facilitating accessibility for clinical and technical consultations.
Location: New Bellevue Hospital, 4W35. Hours of operation: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
