Research and Clinical Interests

Dr. Yee’s interests are immunohistochemistry as an assay in clinical and translational research; the relationship between CXCR4 and SDF-1 in tumor development of variable anatomic sites as well as motility protein expression of tumors, esp. fascin protein; and the fluorescence and infrared spectroscopic evaluation of proteins in relation to structural differences between “normal” and “cancer” cells. As an early adaptor (1990s) of digital pathology imagery he has a strong interest in informatics.
