Research and Clinical Interests
The long-term goal of the laboratory is to elucidate the mechanism and function of the androgen receptor (AR), its cofactors and target genes in endocrine malignancies including breast and prostate cancer and to apply these findings to clinically relevant issues: identifying prognostic and predictive biomarkers and discovering novel therapeutic strategies for cancer.
