Research and Clinical Interests
Adaptive immunity requires a network of cell-cell interactions that are orchestrated by chemokines, adhesion molecules and antigen receptors. We study the biology of T lymphocyte activation and differentiation using integrated in vitro and in vivo microscopic observation and mouse genetics. Specific contexts include vaccination, autoimmunity, asthma, bacterial and viral infection and cancer immunotherapy.
