Obstetric and Gynecologic Pathology

The OB-GYN Pathology Service of the NYU Department of Pathology, directed by Khush Mittal, M.D., is located at Bellevue Hospital and is responsible for more than 10,000 surgical OB-GYN cases per year. Cases are derived from the NYU Cancer Institute, NYU Medical Center, Bellevue Hospital and the affiliated HHC hospitals in the New York metropolitan area. The nature and variety of case materials vary from complex oncologic specimens to challenging cervical biopsies that require comprehensive cytohistologic correlations.
