Postdoctoral Fellowships

Postdoctoral fellowships are available in many of our research laboratories. In addition to laboratory work, postdoctoral fellows have the opportunity to assist in the direction of graduate student research projects and to participate in our various Journal Clubs. They also are encouraged to present the results of their research at our weekly Work-In-Progress meetings and at national and international meetings.

Frederick F. Becker

Honors Program fellow who trained in pathology at NYU and became Director of Laboratories at Bellevue while studying liver regeneration and hepatocarcinogenesis. He became Vice President for Research of the MD Anderson Cancer Center in 1979, where he served with great distinction until his recent retirement. The University of Texas has created an endowed chair in his name.
